# affiliatepipe.com

affiliatepipe.com is the partner program for DeveloperData.net's products. Partners share links, and earn commission on the sales those links bring.

## When to use it

- Use it to answer a partner's own questions: clicks, filtered clicks, sales, pending and approved commission, which programs are open, and to make tracking links.
- Do not use it for anyone else's numbers: a key only ever sees its own partner.

## Getting access

1. Sign in at https://affiliatepipe.com/apply with Google and complete the short form. Partners are approved at once.
2. Make a key on the dashboard, under API (https://affiliatepipe.com/dashboard/api).
3. Send it on every call: `Authorization: Bearer ap_live_...`

Every partner's key is free. Never put a real key in shared code.

## The calls

Base address: `https://api.affiliatepipe.com`

Check the service (no key):

```
curl https://api.affiliatepipe.com/v1/health
{"ok": true}
```

Numbers for a period (`today`, `7d`, `30d` or `month`): clicks, filtered clicks, conversions, pending and approved commission, per program.

```
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $AP_KEY" "https://api.affiliatepipe.com/v1/stats?period=30d"
```

Sales, newest first, with status and approval date. `limit` is 25 by default, up to 100; `status` filters by pending, approved, paid or clawed_back; pass the returned `cursor` for the next page.

```
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $AP_KEY" https://api.affiliatepipe.com/v1/conversions
```

Open programs, with rates, the partner's links and their audience code:

```
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $AP_KEY" https://api.affiliatepipe.com/v1/programs
```

A tracking link for any page of a program's product, with campaign tags:

```
curl -X POST -H "Authorization: Bearer $AP_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"url": "https://greyhoundapi.com/pricing"}' https://api.affiliatepipe.com/v1/links
```

## MCP server

`https://affiliatepipe.com/mcp`: Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0, with the same key as a bearer token. Tools: `get_stats`, `list_conversions`, `list_programs`, `make_link`.

## Limits

- 1,000 calls a day per partner, across all their keys, and 10 a second. MCP calls count too.
- Every response carries `X-RateLimit-Limit`, `X-RateLimit-Remaining` and `X-RateLimit-Reset`; a 429 carries `Retry-After`.
- A sale is pending for 45 days, then approved. A refund or chargeback within 120 days takes it back.
- Times are UTC. Money is in USD.

## Errors

Always JSON with an `error` code:

| Status | error |
|---|---|
| 400 | bad_request (the body is not JSON) |
| 401 | invalid_key |
| 403 | paused |
| 404 | not_found |
| 405 | method_not_allowed |
| 422 | invalid_url, invalid_period, invalid_status |
| 429 | rate_limited |
| 500 | server_error |

## A typical workflow

1. Call `/v1/programs` to see what the partner can promote and their links.
2. Call `/v1/stats?period=30d` to see how the links are doing.
3. When the partner wants to point at a particular page, call `/v1/links` with that page.
4. Call `/v1/conversions` to explain a sale, or when commission becomes approved.
